What is penoplasty, where to find it and for what cost?

Penis surgery, phalloplasty, penoplasty...what is penoplasty?

Penoplasty is a form of cosmetic surgery which is specially designed for the purpose of increasing both the length and girth of the penis. Penoplasty is a surgical technique for increasing the length of the penis. The organs of the penis are made up of two sections, the first of the sections is the foremost section which is located outside of the body (this is the visible part commonly called a "penis") while the second section is the inner section. The ratio of the outer and inner parts is about 50:50.

During the penis enlargement procedure, a small cut of about 3 cm is made in the pubic hair region and also the front internal ligaments of the penis are restricted.  The back ligaments are left untouched, thus keeping lengthwise stability.

By inserting the patient's tissue to the sideways, a new anchor point is made for the foremost section at the site of the real lengthening by making use of suturing techniques and materials which are specially developed by Dr. med. Christoph Jethon and his team. Foreign tissue such as silicone or similar material is not used, which straightens the inner path of the penis that was previously sloped and bent.

At this stage, Dr. Med. Christoph Jethon and his team and his team make use of special geometrical features: straightening the internal path of the penis results in the formation of an extra length, actually two extra lengths (a slope and a bend into a straight line), which are combined to increase the length of the penis. What Dr. Med. Christoph Jethon and his team do are altering the ratio between the internal and external sections in order to achieve an enlarged outer part, this is the penis that is visible to the naked eye.

By doing so, the surgical technique used by Dr. Med. Christoph Jethon and his team avoid contact with the root of the penis, the area in which the urethra, vessels, and nerves are connected with the penis, and leaves these unchanged.

Using special materials and modified suture techniques make sure that any retraction forces that occur as a result of scaring which could stimulate the results are reduced as much as possible.

There are no cuts in the penis itself, thus avoiding the possible risk that it might mean.

The length at which the penis can extend depends on the current angle and the length of the symphysis (anchor point on the pelvis), as well as the way the ligaments are structured.

The existing surface of the skin that covers the penis and scrotum is quite sufficient to cover the enlarged part of the penis. With the techniques used by Dr. Med. Christoph Jethon and his team there is no need for skin grafts or tissue transfer.

Post-operative care if necessary:

Patients whose tissues tend to have excessive scars should put on a postoperative stretching device for a fixed time. You can find out more information about the various applications available for your case during your consultations.

2. What is the Surgical technique for penis thickening?

The procedure used for the thickening (of the shaft) of the penis is carried out using a patient's own fat for the so-called autologous fat tissue transfer (this must not be wrongly taken for simple the fat tissue injections which are often used by inexperienced surgeons).

Frankly speaking, the most difficult part of penis enlargement is penis thickening this is because there are many parts that need to be considered in order to ensure good, long-term results.

For example, in the event that an inexperienced surgeon removes fat from your body, then later inject it simply under the skin of your penis; it will only take 6 months to feel the effect before it is reabsorbed by the body. The use of the special procedure is instrumental for permanent penis thickening.

The technique used by Dr. Med. Christoph Jethon and his team involve first carrying out a special procedure to suck living fat tissue from the inner part of the thigh. This is then processed and thoroughly cleansed before a carefully elaborate procedure is inserted carefully under the skin of the penis in order to heal and leave an even flat surface.

Specially designed bandage with decreasing levels of pressure must be put on for a week so as to guarantee a successful outcome.

From time to time, patients are concerned about the success of the thickening that involves the use of their own body fat. Their major concern remains that it can be re-absorbed due to what they’ve read or heard somewhere.

Therefore, we reiterate the important difference between "autologous transfer of fatty tissue" (the technique used by Dr. Med. Christoph Jethon) and simple "fat tissue injections".  Interested persons will find additional information in the standard book in Krupp + Rennekampff’s standard work, ‘Plastische Chirurgie’ (‘Plastic Surgery’). They indicate the correct use of the body fat of the patient to thicken the penis literally as the "gold standard" (Issue 3 / 2005). Krupp + Rennekampff’s work is considered to be ‘the standard German-language work on plastic surgery’ (Lehmann), or ‘the principal work to date’ (medizin.de).

Anyone who claims that professionally inserted fat tissue will generally be re-absorbed lacks the knowledge of modern surgical procedures.

Thickening that invokes the use of the patient’s body fat is conventionally performed in combination with penis lengthening operation.

3. Is penoplasty painful?

The answer is No; this is because the surgery is absolutely painless, with minimal discomfort at the end of the anesthetic administration. After the surgery, a cocktail of drugs is administered which significantly reduces and often eliminates the presence of pain. When you will be released from the hospital, a specific therapy for the prevention of infectious and inflammatory events and analgesics is prescribed. In this way, real pain prevention is achieved, enabling the patient to resume normal activities quickly.

What is the technique used for penoplasty?

The name of the technique used is anesthetic: below is the type of anesthetic used:

The penoplasty procedure is performed under intravenous sedation to avoid pain and also to make the patient fall asleep amid the procedure.

Penoplasty is generally performed under general anesthetic with sedation, but in very special cases, a general anesthetic or sub-arachnoid (spinal) anesthetic is used.

Local anesthesia with sedation is the most appropriate technique in non-invasive procedures. It consists of linking the infiltration of local anesthetics in the area of surgery and sedation performed by an anesthetist.

In this case, light sleep and analgesia protect the patient from the stress of an operating room with a very limited pharmacological effect on the body.

At the end of the operation, the patient regains his or her normal consciousness in a very short time. Disorders normally associated with metabolism of anesthetics can also be safely treated after a few hours.

The other two procedures, due to their greater invasiveness and prolonged post-surgical observation, this is meant for only patients suffering from specific problems. The penoplasty usually takes between two to two and a half hours.

If you have decided to increase the length and girth of your penis, penoplasty is the procedure which you can undergo to achieve your goal of having the size of penis you craved. This procedure is absolutely painless, with minimal discomfort at the end of the anesthetic administration and it can only take between two to two and a half hours before the procedure is completed.

4. Where to have a real penoplasty and how much does it cost?

Unlike many procedures that can be performed more or less the same way in clinics in various part of the world, when it comes to penoplasty, it is tricky. Our experienced team had made a survey, various enquiries and confronted many plastic surgeons opinions to finally come to the conclusion that it is extremely difficult to find a good clinic that performs a real penoplasty.

You may have plastic surgery departements of well reputed JCI accredited clinics and no penoplasty, no penis enhancement or girth enhancement at all on their list, you can read so many content that you will not be able to make up your mind or at least make your own conclusion (when typing "penis" as a first keyword and its related content, there is no doubt that you are overwhelmed by content). Therefore we strongly advice you to contact us about the topic to avoid any complications and to really get what you are looking for.

In terms of cost you have to make the difference between girth enhancement by filler or fat injection that is around 2200 $ and real procedure that has several options and is above 6000€
