Common incision patterns used in breast lift surgery include the periareolar (around the nipple), vertical (lollipop), and anchor (inverted T) incisions.After creating the incisions, the surgeon will lift and reshape the breast tissue to achieve a more youthful and aesthetically pleasing contour. This may involve repositioning the nipples to a higher position on the chest, removing excess skin, and tightening the surrounding tissue to improve breast firmness and symmetry. Once the tissue adjustments are made, the surgeon will close the incisions using sutures or surgical adhesive and apply sterile dressings or surgical tape to protect the incision sites. Some surgeons may also use surgical drains to remove excess fluid and minimize post-operative swelling.

The usual protocol for breast lift is day 1: laboratory tests and consultations (surgeon and anesthesiologist)/ day 2: surgery and night in clinic / day 3 to day 5 or day 7: rest in hotel and discharge from the surgeon before going back home.
