Buttocks augmentation surgery is a cosmetic surgery aimed at enhancing the shape, size, and contour of the buttocks. There are primarily two main techniques used for buttocks augmentation: fat transfer (also known as Brazilian Butt Lift) and buttock implants. Fat Transfer or sometimes surgery named Brazilian Butt Lift is the main buttocks augmentation surgery.
The process starts with a consultation with a plastic surgeon based on front and sides photos sent online.
The surgery begins with liposuction, where fat is harvested from donor areas such as the abdomen, thighs, or flanks. The harvested fat is processed to remove impurities and excess fluids.The purified fat is then injected into the buttocks in multiple layers and depths to achieve the desired shape and volume. As most comments from patients are focused on advantages, most say that the results tend to look and feel more natural compared to implants. Also since no implants are used, there's no risk of implant displacement or extrusion, it is therefore a surgery that is considered as non invasive. On the other hand the surgery is not recommended for everybody because the amount of fat available for transfer may be limited, especially in lean individuals. Also not all transferred fat cells survive, and multiple sessions may be needed to achieve the desired results.
Tip: send photos from sides and front of your buttocks without clothes. Send also photos of your fat donor areas, mainly thighs. The plastic surgeon will evaluate the expected amount of fat to be harvested and compare it to your desired volume.
