In its constant search for excellence in the area of health, the Hospital Samaritano has been promoting new ways of thinking and organizing the work processes in Health and for this new types of knowledge are necessary that go beyond the technical-scientific knowledge: to work in team, think of the organization as a whole, act on the basis of anticipatory reasoning.
To this end, the hospital has the Institute of Knowledge Education and Research (ICEP), which is dedicated to producing and disseminating knowledge and innovation, integrating teaching and research as drivers of health care quality.
By recognizing the health work environment as a learning scenario, ICEP assumes a methodological approach that focuses on in-service training and enables the construction of knowledge and critical thinking, essential conditions for consolidating technical competence, ethics and responsibility of their professionals.
