When he graduated from medicine at the faculty of Nantes, the success he achieved at the internship competition led Dr. Jean-Christian Talmant in Strasbourg, in the department of maxillofacial surgery and plastic Professor Wilk. Dr. Jean-Christian Talmant studied various aspect of medicine which includes maxillofacial surgery, trauma of the face, plastic surgery reconstructive and cosmetic, and breast reconstruction. All these training acquired was completed by a six-month stay in the pediatric maxillofacial and plastic surgery department of Professor Vasquez at Trousseau Hospital which is located in Paris.
Dr. Jean-Christian Talmant has been working since 2006 in Nantes at the Jules Verne Clinic, together with his father, Dr. Jean-Claude Talmant. Not only that, he has been teaching him with great patience for 7 years cleft lip and palate surgery, but he shares with his son his irreplaceable experience in all areas of plastic and aesthetic surgery.
Dr. Jean-Christian Talmant specializes in surgery Plastic & Aesthetic silhouette (breast, stomach, thighs, arms), cosmetic surgery of aging (cervicofacial lift, eyelid surgery), the rhinoplasty and protruding ears, the surgery of skin tumors, breast reconstruction and also cleft lip and palate surgery.
THE JULES VERNE CLINIC
The Jules Verne Clinic was established in June 2004. The clinic was come into existence as a result of the grouping of 2 mutual clinics and 2 private clinics. The clinic is located east of Nantes, very close to the ring road (exit 41, Porte de Carquefou), and close to the Haluchère-Batignolles tram stop. Non-paying parking is at your disposal. The Jules Verne Clinic has 300 beds which includes 90% single rooms and 48 outpatient beds. THE PATIENT'S JOURNEY
Both the consultations and interventions are carried out at the site of the Jules Verne Clinic, 2 route de Paris, 44300 Nantes. The consulting room of Dr. Jean-Christian TALMANT is located in the clinic itself, on the top floor, to the left of the escalators. These consultations involve three steps which are:
THE FIRST CONSULTATION: This consultation is carried out in order to determine your request, and to understand your expectations.
THE SECOND CONSULTATION
In most cases, this second consultation is carried out and it is done free and the aim is to provide answer to all the possible questions, and to definitively determine together the expected objective.
THE INTERVENTION
Your stay in the hospital is planned some hours before the procedure. The passage by the reception of the hospitalization (high ground floor), or of the ambulatory (1st floor) will allow you to know your room which you will later be directed by the nursing staff. In case of hospitalization, a shower will be conducted before betadine.
POST OPERATIVE CONSULTATION
The first dressing is performed at the end of hospitalization. Exit orders are given to you, as well as a consultation appointment a few days later, at the office for the second dressing.
