Overview

Acıbadem Healthcare Group, was the first hospital that was founded in 1991, Acibadem provides health services with 21 hospitals, 16 outpatient clinics and nearly 22,500 employees, including 3,500 doctors and 4,000 nurses.

Acibadem, with its technology and infrastructure, provides diagnostic and medical treatment services to JCI accredited health standards. In addition to its hospitals and outpatient clinics, the Acıbadem Healthcare Group provides 360 degree services in all areas of medicine.

Acibadem's journey to development and progress, started as a hospital district in 1991, continues on the world stage with a contract concluded in 2012 with IHH Healthcare Berhad, one of the largest groups in the Far East. IHH Healthcare Berhad, which has investment in education and real estate in many countries around the world, apart from investing in hospitals and health facilities in the 8 major Asia and Pacific countries, is the second most extensive care chain in the world.

Malaysian Government Investment Fund Khazanah, Japanese Mitsui & Co. Ltd. and the Aydınlar family partnership. Acıbadem is an important part of this chain since 2012.

In 2016, the Acıbadem Healthcare Group acquired the Tokuda Group and the City Clinics Group, two leaders in the Bulgarian healthcare market. The investment of 125 million euros has allowed Acibadem to expand its activities in 4 hospitals and 5 outpatient clinics, making it the largest private healthcare provider in Bulgaria. Acibadem currently operates 21 hospitals and 16 clinics in 4 countries.

Medical units in Acibadem include: Emergency, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Mouth and dental health, Pain Treatment, Family Medicine, Alzheimer's and Aging Center, Andrology, Anesthesiology, and Foot and Ankle Surgery among others.

In addition to being a health care group, Acibadem has created a model of integrated health services with healthcare services that could set an example for the world. Acıbadem Project Management, one of the institutions in this group, creates a key hospital project for Turkey and other countries.

Acıbadem Mobile Healthcare provides emergency care, home care services, and ambulance and telemedicine services. APlus, one of the affiliated companies, provides facility management services, including hospital catering in all scales, washing and cleaning services. Acıbadem Laboratories, another powerful aspect of this group, provide genetic testing, pathology, stem cells and blood banks in a wide range.
