Abdominal etching or  ""6 pack abs surgery"" or ""liposculpture,"" is a plastic surgical procedure aimed at enhancing the appearance of the abdominal muscles by removing excess fat and sculpting the underlying musculature to create the appearance of well-defined abdominal muscles, typically resembling a six-pack. 

This procedure is often sought by individuals who have difficulty achieving a defined abdominal appearance through diet and exercise alone.
