There are several natural supplements that are commonly used for skin whitening, although their effectiveness and safety can vary.  
 
Glutathione: Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant that is naturally produced by the body and is believed to play a role in skin health. It is found in nuts, seeds, and vegetable oils, and is also available in supplement form. While there is limited evidence to support the use of vitamin E supplements for skin whitening, some studies suggest that it may help improve overall skin tone and texture. The effect for skin whitening is limited but it is useful in general.

Alpha-arbutin is a natural derivative of hydroquinone, a commonly used skin-lightening agent. It is derived from the bearberry plant and is believed to inhibit melanin production in the skin, leading to a lighter complexion. Alpha-arbutin is often found in skincare products and supplements marketed for skin whitening.

In some skin whitening tablets, it is often associated with glutathione and vitamin C. Other skin whitening plans, made of tablets or injections, contain a more diverse range of antioxydant to fight free radicals, have melanin inhibators, skin detoxifications etc.
