Abdominoplasty, or "tummy tuck," is a surgical procedure aimed at removing excess skin and fat from the abdomen and tightening the abdominal muscles to create a smoother, firmer abdominal profile. The protocol for abdominoplasty typically start by a Consultation: The initial step is to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in body contouring procedures. During this consultation, the surgeon will evaluate your medical history, assess your aesthetic goals, and examine your abdomen to determine if you are a suitable candidate for abdominoplasty. This can be done remote by sending to the plastic surgeon a photo from side and front of your belly. Your will then be able to receive a quote afterwards. The abdominoplasty is typically performed under general anesthesia to ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure.

Details of the surgery: Incision: The surgeon will make one or more incisions in the lower abdomen, usually horizontally between the hip bones, and potentially around the navel, depending on the extent of correction needed.Skin and fat removal: Excess skin and fat are carefully excised from the abdomen through the incisions. In some cases, liposuction may also be used to remove additional fat deposits and improve body contouring.Muscle repair: If necessary, the surgeon will tighten the abdominal muscles by suturing them together in the midline, effectively creating a firmer abdominal wall and narrowing the waistline.Skin redraping: The remaining skin is then redraped over the abdomen and pulled taut to create a smoother, flatter appearance. The protocol includes 1 night in clinic and you are discharged in average 3 to 5 days after the surgery meaning if you are abroad your quote shall include 1 night in clinic + 4 nights in hotel. Usually after the 5th night in the morning you see the surgeon for discharge and go back home the same day.
